Green Bike Trust

StarLight was given a bike and a scooter that were not able to be fixed, so we took them to the Green Bike Trust for them to use as spare parts.  Because of this interaction, The Green Bike Trust now donates bikes to StarLight.  We were delighted!  Adult bikes are given to people in the community who suffer from mental illness.  If they are not able to drive, or do not have a car, a bike can mean increased independence for patients.  A bike may enable them to get groceries, go to appointments and so on.  The children’s bikes have been given to children under mental health care, and to children at a low decile school. StarLight loves to give children gifts that provide, joy, comfort, and those which keep the children entertained over a long period.
