Kids Helping Kids

Anahera Brokenshaw was asked to complete a project for “Living our Learning.”  The students were asked to choose a charity to help.  Anahera researched Palmerston North charities and decided to help StarLight. She organised a toy drive for the children receiving mental health care at CAFS (Child, Adolescent and Family Service).  She also filled a number of gift bags with items like shampoo, soap and shower gel. >>

At Christmas, Easter, and each month, we give gift bags and essential parcels to patients suffering from mental illness.

“If you’ve got a pulse, you’ve got a purpose.”
