Rose City Quilters

Another awesome group of StarLight supporters are Rose City Quilters.  Each member has brought gifts for StarLight to their Christmas meeting.  One year the gifts filled a car and a van!  These gifts were very special, many more expensive than I could buy for my own daughters.  It gives us such joy to be able to make our recipients feel cherished.  The quilters have given us gifts such as toiletries, hand-sewn toilet bags and tote bags, sweets, chocolates, coffee mugs and fancy coffees, jewellery, drink bottles, and hand-knitted beanies.  The RCQ group has also provided StarLight with stunningly gorgeous quilts for Ward 21, Star 1, the Te Matai teen respite centre and for teenagers undergoing cancer treatment at our hospital.
